Why We Must Stand With Perry
Around 590 B.C. (or, for those who are set on removing God from even our
calendar, 590 B.C.E.) Israel found itself mired in the destruction of their
national identity. The elders who had been transported to Tel Abib (south of
Babylon) inquired of Ezekiel concerning their condition and the destruction of
Jerusalem. The message of the elders to God was, “O.K. God, we’ve learned our
lesson. Now give us back our identity, our land and our temple and we’ll try to
do better.” Ezekiel relays a message from God to the leaders, “Judgment has
come upon you. There are 2 things that I cannot tolerate:
As a nation we have allowed abortion to become the law of the land. Close to 3,500 unborn babies are killed each day. Approximately 50 million babies have been killed since 1973. A generation of potential tax payers for social security, potential doctors, lawyers, scientists, educators, accountants, computer programmers, engineers, farmers, electricians, carpenters, plumbers, painters and garbage collectors as well as future moms and dads were denied the right to live and enrich our society. Seeping into the national landscape is the legal right hidden in Obamacare to end the life of the elderly, the infirmed and the handicapped. What's next? Could the government approve of genocide due to race or religion or other defining background? How about the poor or uneducated? When one belongs to a user group instead of a provider group, could genocide be the next step? Where is our outrage? Where is our disgust? WHERE IS OUR CONSCIOUS?
2) The practice of perverted sexual abominations occurred with the licentious participation of sexual free-for-all. This practice was also part of the worship of Baalim as young ladies and young men reached the age of puberty and were required to serve at the temple of the idol. These young people were required to raise a temple tax by fees paid for their sexual favors. Men came to have sex with their young girls and young boys donating for the services to help raise the funds for the tithe. Upon fulfillment of the tax, these young people were allowed to return home.
The abominations of Sodom and Gomorrah have gained acceptability in a land where marriage between a male and female were once considered a holy and respected relationship. As the political landscape of the liberal courts has approved legalization of partner unions, we need not to be deceived. It is not validation for homosexual relationships that is the goal of liberal politics; it is the destruction of the home as God designed it. The liberal wing of the Democratic Party is promoting the destruction of marriage and seeks to allow any consenting adult to participate. Will multi-party marriages come next? Will we invite the Muslim practice of multiple wives to be a legal entity as Sharia law replaces our constitution as the law of the land under the banner of tolerance and Political Correctness?
Governor Rick Perry is a conservative of conviction, not of convenience. On the bedrock issues of life, marriage Perry’s conservative values are clear and consistent, and his record backs up his rhetoric. Perry's history has always shown an unwavering stand in defense of life, family and marriage.
1) the shedding of innocent blood,1) The shedding of innocent blood occurred in the practice of sacrificing children to the idols of the Baalim.
2) the abomination of unrestrained participation in sexual perversion,”
(Ezekiel 20)

"If elected, Perry would support a ban on tax dollars for abortion and a human life amendment to the U.S. Constitution. He will only appoint judges with a demonstrated commitment to the Constitution and interpreting the law as written, as he has done consistently as governor. Will we continue down the road of ancient Judah and find our society destroyed by our own lusts? Or will we learn the lessons of history and return to the traditional values that helped make this country the blessed nation that we have been?
Perry has signed more pro-life legislation than any other governor in the history of his state, including:
Perry strongly supports traditional marriage. He signed the state Defense of Marriage Act and supported a marriage amendment to the state constitution, and he would do the same as president."
- A Parental Consent law for minors
- The Prenatal Protection Act, which recognizes the personhood of an unborn child
- The Woman’s Right to Know Act, requiring informed consent
- A ban on late-term abortions
- A law ensuring pregnant women receive a sonogram prior to an abortion
- Defunded Planned Parenthood

Why Newt Blew It or STHU Newt!
SHUT UP ABOUT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS THAT ARE ALREADY HERE!
Last night, according to POLITICO, Newt Gingrich "may have had a Perry Moment". Nothing could be further from the truth.
Was Newt right? Maybe, the American people don't really seem to have the will
to enforce the immigration laws that are on the books. Don't believe me, go ask
anyone this question,
We have an open border. The Obama administration turned off the electronic frontier and booted the funding for the fence. Obama cut the funding for the National Guard troops and sent them home. The Border Patrol is under funded, undermanned and, thanks to Obama's Justice department arming the Cartels, they are out gunned. Now Newt, who was a leading contender going into the CNN, The Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute debate last night, proved that he has no understanding of what is happening on our border. To make statements such as his could start an even bigger stampede of illegals charging the border with the idea that they can get their cards from a President Gingrich.
There should be no talk of what we will do with those already here until we secure the border. Obama has shown he has no intent to do it so he must be replaced. The only person running who has an absolute record on securing the border is Texas Governor Rick Perry with his 10 years of experience.
See him in his own words here:
Last night, according to POLITICO, Newt Gingrich "may have had a Perry Moment". Nothing could be further from the truth.
“I don’t see how the, the party that says it’s the party of the family is going to adopt an immigration policy which destroys families that have been here a quarter-century,” he said Tuesday. “And I’m prepared to take the heat for saying, ‘Let’s be humane in enforcing the law without giving them citizenship but by finding a way to create legality so they are not separated by their families.’”
"Would you send home the illegal who came here in 1990 who now has two kids who are Americans by birth and are in high school. His son is a first string defensive back on the football team and his daughter is a straight A student and a cheerleader who wants to go to college to become a doctor? "
So where did Newt go wrong? He's talking about it!You know the answer to that question. 9 times out of 10 the answer will be, "well, not that guy".

Comforter-in-Chief
True Leadership. Of the many duties the President of the United States is
called upon one is that of "Comforter-in-Chief ".
Almost inevitably every President must face a national tragedy and must lead the
nation through it. Those we remember most are Reagan's Challenger
Disaster, Clinton's Oklahoma City, and Bush's 9/11. It's not the first thing
that comes to mind when we think of Presidential duties, but it is a duty we
should be more mindful of.
Obama's call came on January 8th when Congress Woman Gabrielle "Gabby"
Giffords was shot and 13 people were injured and 6 others were killed. In his
role of "Comforter-in-Chief " Obama was a complete failure turning what was
supposed to be a memorial service for the victims on the 12th into what was more
like a pep rally and a campaign event including cheering, applause and t-shirts.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry today participated in the Presidential Thanksgiving Family Forum, hosted by the Family Leader, where he reiterated his principled and longstanding commitment to conservative values.
“I am a faithful, fiscal and social conservative of conviction, not of convenience,” said Gov. Perry. “As Governor of the State of Texas, I have signed more pro-life legislation than any governor in my state’s history and championed and signed the Texas Defense of Marriage Act. Traditional family values are important to me, to the people of Iowa and to citizens and future of our nation. America needs to reenergize limited government, entrepreneurship and the traditional values that helped us become the greatest, most prosperous nation in history.”
But the most telling moments from tonight's forum was not so much the personal stories of those participating or their testimony of faith, but was the actions of faith that occurred there. Twice during the forum two candidates became emotional during their testimonies, Rick Santorum and Herman Cain. Both men at some point in the campaign have attacked Governor Perry on a personal level. Cain has gone overboard by trying to deflect his personal scandals by attempting to blame Perry and members of Perry's Campaign staff for "orchestrating the scandals". Yet both times tonight we saw that it was Governor Perry who reached out to comfort these two men in acts that showed the Governor's faith rather than speaking of his faith. That is true Leadership. We know through experience that at some point during the next term the President will be called to once again serve as "Comforter-in-Chief", we don't need another pep rally.

Law Professor say Pelosi could go to Jail
Law Professor, Dr. Donna Nagy University of Indiana says Nancy Pelosi, Et Al,
can be prosecuted for insider trading. Dr. Nagy contends that there are enough
existing laws on the books to hold Nancy Pelosi and other congressmen
accountable if the allegations against them are proven in a court of law. H/T Breitbart.tv
This is why we need to send Governor Perry to Washington. We need a leader who understands that Obama isn't the only problem in D.C. The entire Government needs to be held accountable to the American People.

Perry Picks A Fight
Governor Perry Goes to Washington...and picks a fight with Nancy!
"Dear Leader Pelosi,
After reading about House Minority Whip Steny Hoyers' outburst over my "Overhauling Washington" plan, I wonder if his obstructionism reflects your own opposition and that of the Democratic Caucus to urgent reforms the American public so vehemently demand.
After increasing the debt by $4 trillion in less than three years, no one can truly believe that Americans are satisfied with business as usual, and that a permanent political class in Washington can get us out of the mess you and your colleagues have created.
A part-time Congress with half the pay would still make $38,000 a year more than the average American Family. Do you truly oppose lawmakers spending more time in their districts? Is it so important for the Washington power brokers to build their fiefdoms of influence, including providing bailouts to Wall Street while businesses on Main Street are being boarded up every day?
Here is the fundamental question: do you believe Washington is broker? Before answering that question, consider these facts:
1) The Washington metro area is now the most affluent metropolitan area in the country because lobbyists, contractors, elected officials and bureaucrats have been insulated from the economic ruin prevalent in the private sector.
2) Congressional office budgets have doubled since 2000 while employers all across America are laying off workers
3) our nation's total debt is nearing the size of our nation's economy, increasing our dependance on competitors like China
4) the number of Americans out of work has increased by more than two million since January 2009, despite the massive stimulus package Democratic leaders promised would revive the economy, and;
5) on top of the job-killing spending policies of the previous Congress, employers are faced with a staggering $1.1 trillion in costs related to federal regulatory compliance.
Do you truly believe the answer to massive debt, over-regulation and bloated big government policies is to continue to protect the status quo, which enriches and empowers Washington insiders at the expense of the American people?
My plan would overhaul Washington, eliminating certain agencies and reducing the size and scope of others. It will force Congress to make the tough decisions to balance the budget or require a further reduction in their pay. It would end lifetime appointments to future appointees to the federal bench. I don't want to tinker around the edges when the American People demand a complete overhaul of Washington.
Let me conclude with an invitation: I am in Washington Monday and would love to engage you in a public debate about my Overhaul Washington plan versus the congressional status quo.
I think it would be a tremendous service to the American public to see a public airing of those differences. Let the people decide.
If Monday doesn't work, perhaps we could find a time in Iowa over the course of the next month to discuss these issues in front of the people of America's heartland.
Should you choose not to respond or engage in such a healthy discussion, I will take it to mean you will continue your obstructionist ways in the face of much needed Washington reform.
Sincerely,
Rick Perry
Governor of Texas

I will let my friend Charlie sum this one up:
This is what as known as
strategic. Either way she goes, he's got her. If she wants to debate
him, over this or anything else, I think he looks good and she looks
baaad...bitchy, false and imperious. If she doesn't, it looks like she's
running. Who else is offering debates to across-the-aisle politicians
that aren't running? This is really fun. I actually think Perry has been
"lying in the weeds", pretending to be lame while all the time
preparing for bold moves and aggressive tactics.
Well said Charlie, looks like it's your move Nancy.
Update: Nancy took the bait: According to POLITICO
"He did ask if I could debate here in Washington on Monday. It is my
understanding that such a letter has come in," Pelosi said in the
Capitol Thursday. "Monday I'm going to be in Portland in the morning,
I'm going to be visiting some of our labs. I'm in California in the
afternoon, that's two. I can't remember what the third is."
Good Call Charlie!

Perry calls Obama Privileged
Governor Perry must have hit a nerve last night judging by the outrage by the
Left on
Twitter
#Perry after his appearance on Sean
Hannity's show on Fox News Channel. If you missed it (see below) Perry
called the President out for calling Americans "Lazy".
While Perry was promoting his proposal to bring the Texas style of Governing to Washington with a Part-Time Congress that included a pay cut and forcing them to live under the laws they pass, Hannity brought up the President calling us lazy. The Governor responded by basically saying that Obama grew up privileged not knowing what it's like to have to work hard for things. He also pointed out that Obama's thinking that he is the smartest person in the room and blaming others for his problems is hurting America.
Hannity November 16.
Well go get 'em Governor! I, for one, am tired of this President blaming President Bush, Republicans, the TEA Party, and ATM's for his string of failures and I am glad that someone is finally calling him out on it.

Perry calls Obama "Pathetic"
Once again Obama is attacking Americans. When he is not too busy playing Golf
President Obama finds time to attack us either financially or by trying to
diminish us in the eyes of the World. His recent insult is in his home
State Hawaii where he told a group of CEO's gathered for the APEC meeting that
we're the ones to blame for the US economic woes by calling us "Lazy".
"As President Obama continues to make excuses for our nation’s economic struggles, apologizing for America and disparaging Americans by calling us lazy, soft and un-ambitious, Gov. Perry is offering solutions to reverse the damage inflicted by this out-of-touch administration,” said Perry campaign communications director Ray Sullivan. “This ad underscores Gov. Perry’s priority to overhaul Washington through common-sense measures including a balanced budget amendment and reducing Congressional salaries."
“Lazy” Script
Video of President Obama: “We’ve been a little bit lazy I think over the last couple of decades.”
Rick Perry: “Can you believe that? That’s what our President thinks is wrong with America? That Americans are lazy?”
“That’s pathetic. It’s time to clean house in Washington.”
“It’s time for a Balanced Budget Amendment that forces Washington to stop overspending.”
“If Congress balks, cut their pay and send them home.”
“Obama’s socialist policies are bankrupting America. We must stop him now.”
“I’m Rick Perry. I approve this message.”
Good for you Governor! I approve it too.

Governor Rick Perry Pushes Back Against Steny Hoyer
The Reason Texas seems to work so well is all in our history. In the late 1800's the Grange movement took over the State of Texas understanding one simple concept, every time Congress meets we lose rights. In Texas they managed to re-write our Constitution to basically make our state government almost powerless. If there is any doubt about whether or not it works for us, come visit, our economy is booming while the rest of the country is suffering.
Governor Perry this week is bring the Grange concept to the rest of America. Above is a great interview with Sean Hannity where Governor Perry outlines how he wants to reform Washington and handcuff Congress to stop them from taking away our rights and stop using their power to line their personal pockets.
Viva la Grange!

Crony Capitalism
There used to be quit a few accusations of Crony-Capitalism being thrown a
Governor Perry. It was laughable at first for those of us who live in Texas and
understand how our Constitution works, The Grange made sure that no one person has the political power to do much of anything. It was even funnier when at
the end of September the Governor revoked his blind trust and released his
Personal Finances . With stock worth between $108K-$319K and personal saving
worth about $10K we found out that of all the people running Perry seems to be
the only Candidate that actually needs the job.
Sunday night, November 13, 2011, Wynton Hall over at www.BigGovernment.com and 60 Minutes released evidence of real Crony-Capitalism showing Nancy Pelosi used her position as Speaker of the House to get a sweet deal on an IPO buy from Visa and then pigeonholing a reform bill for 2 years to score somewhere between $1 to $5 Million doing something a private citizen would be sent to prison for. The best part is, it's all legal!
How does Rick Perry say he will deal with Crony Capitalism? With a sledgehammer and a wrecking ball. “Some think we can fix Washington with a pair of tweezers, nibbling around the edges if you will, I happen to think we need to take a sledgehammer to it.”
Perry gave us a look at that sledgehammer.

Too much stuff Twirling around in his head?!?!
Holy Cow!
When Governor Perry had his "Brain Freeze" it was embarrassing, but
understandable. We've all been there, we just have been fortunate enough not to
do it while 4 million + people are watching you run for the most powerful
position on Earth. Besides, my theory is that Ron Paul's eyebrow has some kind
of evil powers that effected the Governor. But this from Herman Cain....WOW!
We knew he was a little shallow on International issues, but here we aren't
even talking ankle deep. Cain supporters need to come to grips with the fact
that Cain is not Presidential material, simply Google "Cain + Misspoke". From
his killer fence to his desire to negotiate with Terrorist he has become
predictable in that by tomorrow, November 15th, we can expect to hear him tell
us one or all of the following:
- He was misquoted
- He never said any of it
- It was the Democratic Machine (what the hell is that? A Chevy Volt???)
- and my personal favorite...IT WAS RICK PERRY'S FAULT.
but for now, I'll let Daniel W. Drezner http://drezner.foreignpolicy.com/posts/2011/11/14/the_herman_cain_mercy_rule_is_now_in_effect sum it up for me:
"There's a mercy rule in Little League, and I'm applying it here -- unless
and until Herman Cain surges back in the polls again, or manages to muster
something approaching cogency in his foreign policy statements, there's no point
in blogging about him anymore. I can only pick on an ignoramus so many times
before it feels sadistic. "-OUCH!
P.S. I just found this-
Just...DAMN!

A thank you to our veterans for the sacrifices they've made in the name of freedom from Freedom Works and Governor Rick Perry.
He Likes America
I am a Texas Rangers fan and attend as many home games as my schedule will allow. Every once in a while during the season I got to watch a game with Former President Bush, from a distance of course. Whenever the former President was at the game there was always lots of applause and chants of "Double-U!" from the home crowd of Texans who still remember the GWB who stood on the smoldering remains of a fire truck and inspired a nation. There were also plenty of people who liked to make snide remarks and remind those around them of the funny way he said "nuclear" or of him trying to open a locked door. But during one of those games I overheard someone make a snide comment to his wife having to do with his opinion of President Bush’s I.Q. but then he paused and said, "but, it sure was nice having a President who actually likes America".
To me that anonymous fan summed up the entire Obama Presidency, a President who doesn't seem to like America.
In an appearance on Fox News Channel http://video.foxnews.com/v/1174769475001/rick-perry-on-hannity/ during September, Governor Perry said, “We need to nominate someone who has a stark, clear difference between the Republican nominee and President Obama,” he said. “We don’t need to nominate Obama-Lite.”
Once again Governor Perry showed that clear distinction between himself and Obama when he outlined his commitment to Americans and those who serve her during the CBS/The National Journal Debate Saturday night.
So to my anonymous baseball fan friend out there, vote for Perry, because it sure will be nice to have a President who actually likes America again.
